We are a small school with big aspirations.
Every student here is welcomed, valued and encouraged in every way to achieve their potential and achieve at the highest possible level. Our staff use a deep understanding of the National Curriculum to individualise learning for every student to make their days relevant and practical.
We have strong supportive relationships with our students, parents and community that ensure we pursue a shared vision for our school and students.
As a small school, we are able to provide opportunities for individual and group success in each student's area of interest. Our facilities allow us to provide equipment (eg technology, sporting) on a one to one basis that increases the chances of achieving mastery with those devices and in turn improve learning outcomes.
Our long term goal for every student is for them to become successful lifelong learners and valued members of our society.
Our catchment area of our student population lies between Woopen Ck to the south and north to Babinda, with the majority of students living in Bartle Frere. School begins at 8.55am and concludes at 3.00 pm. Several leadership programs are offered every year for senior students along with a transition programs from Kindy and into high school.
